Fahran Khan has worked as a Student Ambassador at Brunel University since October 2009. Student Ambassadors conduct campus tours for prospective students and parents during open days to give their insight into what Brunel has to offer. They also represent the University at higher education fairs and conventions around the country. Fahran has always represented the University well and is reliable, thorough, polite, and informative when interacting with prospective students and parents.

Fahran has worked as a Student Ambassador as part of the Student Ambassador Scheme at
Brunel University since October 2009. General Student Ambassador duties are outlined
below.

Student Ambassadors are enthusiastic and reliable undergraduate and postgraduate
students who are looking to develop their skills in public speaking and who can work as part
of a team. Previous experience of public speaking and meeting people is helpful but not
essential. Good communication skills and self-confidence are essential.
Campus Tours: At Open Days and UCAS Days Student Ambassadors conduct campus tours
for prospective students and parents giving their own insight into what Brunel has to offer.
Higher Education Fairs and Conventions: Ambassadors get to travel all over the country to
represent the University at HE Fairs and Conventions. They ‘man’ the Brunel stand and give
advice on courses and student life at Brunel.
