The Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS)
certification process is a rigorous one,
mandating that products with its label be
only the finest quality, adhering to the
uppermost standards.
JAS certification bans the use of chemical
synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, ensur-
ing that the products and the environment
are safe from these harmful chemicals.
To be JAS certified also means that a com-
pany cannot harvest their products in a
way that damages the surrounding envi-
ronment. So when you’re purchasing a JAS
certified product, you can be certain of
both quality and a positive environmental
