To whom it may concern:
It is my pleasure to write this letter of reference for Brandon Lopez. I have been
Brandon’s professor at Modesto Junior College for the Spring and Fall Semesters 2016 in
the disciplines of Programmable Logic Controllers and Programmable Automation
Controllers. Brandon’s excellent mechanical aptitude partnered with his industry
experience gives him a distinct advantage over others at his level of study. Brandon
Lopez has been a top performer in both classes and has earned superior grades in both
as well. Based on Brandon’s grades, attendance, and class participation, I’d rate his
performance in my class as exceptional.
Brandon’s performance as a student at MJC extends well beyond that of a traditional
student. In a recent project, writing a program for a punch press machine, Brandon
took his own time and money to purchase and assemble a complete mockup of the
project including a PAC logical rack and associated equipment. His completed
project was flawless and included addition programming that extended both beyond
the scope of the project and beyond the level necessary for this class. It is this type of
effort and thinking that has ensured that he will succeed.
Brandon Lopez has a unique set of skills to offer your company. He possesses a strong
mechanical background that gives him insight on how industrial machinery should
operate. He has a natural ability to program and understand the logic necessary to
make automation work. Above all, Brandon Lopez has the drive and the intelligence to
move forward and excel. He is not satisfied with simply understanding that something
works. He wants to understand why. I am convinced that this combination will ensure
that he is successful with your company.
Sincerely,
Michael Ryun
