What is Kasa Muktha (Zero Garbage)
Kasa Muktha is Bengaluru's waste management program that aims to improve segregation, collection, and processing of waste. It involves door-to-door collection of segregated wet, dry, and sanitary waste by waste collectors. Apartments with less than 50 units leave segregated waste in bins. Waste is monitored at collection points and transferred to larger vehicles for transport. The program also focuses on street cleaning and litter removal to improve cleanliness. Independent auditing and data analytics are used to enhance the system over time across more wards in the city.

- 8. • Daily collection ofD2D segregated waste by PK - 100% coverage (Door to door and Petty shops ) • Apartments under 50 units who leave segregated waste separately in 2 bins will have waste collected from common point • Waste in plastic bag NOT accepted and mixed waste not accepted 2 days a week dry waste collection by PK.
