The local chapter of Room to Read is hosting a Booktoberfest event on September 26th at Lakewood Brewing Co. to celebrate literacy month and Oktoberfest. The event will include beer tastings, a brewery tour, food, and music from 6:30-9:30pm with proceeds helping Room to Read provide books and literacy programs for children in Dallas-Ft. Worth as well as Asia and Africa. Tickets are $25 in advance or $32 at the door.

Thursday, September 26th from 6:30 – 9:30pm at the Lakewood Brewing Co.
