Larry Williams began flying at the age of seventeen and obtained
his FAA Flight Instructor certificate at eighteen. During his career he
has been employed in many facets of aviation including regional
airline captain, corporate flight department manager, faculty at two
universities and an instructor at the Federal Aviation Administration
Academy. He spent over thirty years as an Aviation Safety Inspector
with the Federal Aviation Administration in various assignments
worldwide before retiring in 2010. Since his retirement he has served
as an international aviation consultant providing services to air
