The simple answer is YES, anyone can go for scuba diving provided they are mentally and
physically fit to dive. Scuba diving in Andaman for non swimmers is an extremely safe
and adventurous underwater sport. Your divemaster will take you to the deep waters and
take care of you during the whole diving program. You have to undergo 30 to 45 minutes
of training before your underwater dive.
Eligibility criteria for scuba diving
The minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years and the maximum age is 50 years. A person
beyond 50 years of age is not eligible for scuba diving. A person suffering or suffered (6
months earlier) from the following diseases may have issues with scuba diving.
Diabetes
Ear infection
Hearing diseases, balance problems, and hearing loss
Skin allergies and lung diseases
Suffering from Asthma or a history of Asthma
System disorders, mental or psychological problems
