2. Welcome message
Every year thousands of young karatekas from all
over the world count the days to participate in
the biggest celebration of our sport at underage
level. The WKF Youth Camp & Cup has become one
of the most important Karate events for
youngsters and an outstanding showcase of the
impact of our sport at young ages.
This event to be held in Umag, Croatia from July
1st to 5th makes us enthusiasts of the sport
particularly proud because it is the leading
exponent of the strength of Karate at grass-root level. Moreover, the WKF Youth
Camp & Cup is a memorable event since it brings youngsters the chance to learn
more about Karate from legends of our sport who will be acting as instructors; it is
also the perfect stage for them to earn new experiences and to make long-lasting
friendship with other young karatekas from all five continents.
For all of this, I take the opportunity to thank the Croatian Karate Federation and its
president Mr. Davor Cipek for their support in organizing once again one of the most
important events of the year. I am sure that with their cooperation and their hard
work, the 2019 WKF Youth Camp & Cup will be a huge success just as it was in
previous editions.

20. After confirmation, the guest is required to pay 30% of the full amount within 24
hours (not including Saturdays, Sundays or holidays) to make the reservation valid. The
other 70% the guest is required to pay at least 35 days before arrival.

If you wish to pay for your reservation by bank transfer, you need to pay the required
amount within 24 hours from the time of reservation, or at time you receive
confirmation of availability from our operators. At the same time, the guest is obliged
to send Uniline d.o.o. a confirmation of the payment. In contrary, Uniline d.o.o. is not
obligated to carry out the service of the reservation. Uniline d.o.o. is not responsible
for outstanding reservations of services caused by not receiving the confirmation within

Registrations Details
Registration to the WKF Youth Training Camp / WKF KIDS U12 & U21 CUP can be done
directly by the participants through the online registration system, without the need of
specific involvement of their National Federation at the link:

However, if there is any discrepancy with the National Federation, it is the NF – all NFs
can access on real time registrations for an event – who should communicate to
sportdata.org and the WKF HQ straight away any incidence. This should be done latest
four days before the first day of competition, this is 3 days after closure of
registration, so that a smooth running of the registration process and the event itself
can be ensured and the necessary steps can be taken.

21. Deadline of online registration: 20th June 2019.
After that deadline (20th June 2019), online Registration will close and a penalty of 75
CHF to all further registrations may be applied according to the WKF Rules.

CROATIAN KARATE UNION will issue “Invitation letters” for visa purposes
only for delegations that have booked official accommodation through
official agency due to regulations of Ministry of internal affairs and laws of
Republic of Croatia and guarantees that CROATIAN KARATE UNION has to
provide for each person that is traveling with visa to Croatia.

Third-country nationals who require a visa for Croatia but are holders of valid:
• uniform visa (C) for two or multiple entries, valid for all Schengen Area Member
States;
• visa with limited territorial validity (LTV visa), for two or multiple entries, issued
to the holder of a travel document that is not recognized by one or more, but
not all of the Schengen Area Member States, and which is valid for the territory
of the Member States recognizing the travel document;
• long-stay visa (D) for stays exceeding 90 days, issued by one of the Schengen
Area Member State;
• residence permit issued by one of the Schengen Area Member State;
• national visas for two or multiple entries and residence permits of Bulgaria,
listed in Annex I of the Decision No 565/2014/EU;

The period of validity of the above-mentioned Schengen, Bulgarian, Cypriot, and
Romanian documents must cover the duration of the transit or stay.
In case of uncertainty regarding validity of any of the above-mentioned documents,

Where to apply for a Croatian VISA?
Participants who require a visa should apply in person at the Croatian Embassy or, if
available, at the Visa Application Centre in their country of residence.
Please note that visa application shall be submitted no sooner than three months
before the intended date of traveling to Croatia.

23. ON SITE Registrations
Registration fees for the Training Camp & WKF Kids U12 & U21 Cup
The young participants will pay 50€ during official registration (HQ Hotel Sol Garden
Istra, Monday 1st July 2019 from 10:00 – 18:00) as participation fees for the 12th
WKF Youth Training Camp & 40€ of participation fee for WKF Cup U12 & U21 Cup.
It is obligatory for all the participants, their accompanying persons and trainers to
stay at the official hotel. Otherwise, the participation fee for all activities of the
Training Camp will be 130€.

my country, duly enrolled to participate in the 12th WKF Training Camp Umag 2019 and WKF Kids
U12 & U21 Cup which will be held in Umag, Croatia from July 1st until July 8th 2019, with full
knowledge of the Statues, the Rules and the Norms of the WORLD KARATE FEDERATION in
force, pledge myself to faithfully accomplish the regulations of this before mentioned entity.
I take any and all administrative, civil, and criminal responsibilities for whatever happens to our
athletes, coaches and other members of our delegation participating in the event, before, during,
and after the event, such as physical injuries, personal expenses, or monetary debts and casual
material damages to the hotels, the venue, means of transportation, etc.
Furthermore, I exempt from any legal, civil or criminal responsibilities the organizers of the event,
the WKF, the Croatian Karate Union and official agency Uniline its directors, as well as any person,
company, or entity related to the event (sponsors, public and private entities). I authorize the
organizers of the event to use images, photos and the names of our competitors and other
members of our delegation (since it is considered necessary) for the sport activities and
publications of karate, related to the event, without any monetary compensation.
