Study Case Report:
Radio-Frequency Assisted Liposuction ™
24 Weeks After
Patient: 58 Female
Areas Treated: Hips, Abdomen, Inner & Outer Thighs
Anesthesia: Diazepam 10mg, Perdane, IV Sedation and Hunstad Tumescent Formula.
Protocol: This patient indicated various concerns including excess fat accumulation in the
abdomen, hips and thighs, as well as, cellulite on the thighs. BodyTite parameters were
set at 65W at depth level 5 and treatment was commenced until fibrous areas were
broken up and the cannula was able to smoothly move back and forth without
resistance (at this point the temperature has risen from 26 to 32 degrees centigrade. The
handpiece was then adjusted to depth setting 3 to treat both the intermediate and superficial
layers until the skin’s surface reached the target cut-off temperature of 42 degrees centigrade,
which was maintained for 3 minutes in each 10x15cm zone. The liquefied fat cells were
aspirated with a 3.7mm aspirating cannula.
Aspiration: 900cc hips, 1000cc abdomen, 400cc outer thighs and 300cc inner thighs
Post-Op: Post-operatively, the patient was instructed to wear both compression garments and foam pads
for the first week (22 hours a day), then another 2 weeks of compression garments for
22 hours and then 3 more weeks of compression garments for 12 hours during the day.
Results: • Circumferential reduction of 10 cm in the hips and 8 cm in the thighs after 24 weeks
• Weight reduction from 160 lbs to 150 lbs after 24 weeks
Physician: S. Mulholland, MD
“My skin has not felt this firm since I was a single woman in my twenties.
There was little to no discomfort and I was back to my normal activities the
next day, and exercise in one month” - Patient J

Study Case Report:
Radio-Frequency Assisted Liposuction ™
24 Weeks After
Patient: 42 Female
Areas Treated: Abdomen & Hips
Anesthesia: Valium 10mg (orally), IV Sedation and Hunstad Tumescent Formula
Protocol: The patient received 10x15cm thermal zone treatments using RFAL. Treatment began with
energy levels of 65W in the deep fat layers (depth setting 5) until there was no tissue
resistance and a corresponding 3-5 degree temperature rise. This was followed with 60W
at depth setting 3 until there was no resistance in the mid-layer and 60W at depth setting 2 to
address the superficial layer. When the treatment endpoint of 42 degrees centigrade was
reached the treatment continued for another 3 minutes per zone to maximize the need for
skin tightening, with the system modulating the energy level to maintain 42 degrees.
Overall there was a very uniform endpoint with a complete thermal contractile experience to
the entire subcutaneous matrix.
Aspiration: 1800cc abdomen and 600cc hips
Post-Op: Post-operatively, the patient was instructed to wear both compression garments and foam pads
for the first week (22 hours a day), then another 2 weeks of compression garments for
22 hours and then 3 more weeks of compression garments for 12 hours during the day.
Results: • 21% vertical contraction
• Circumferential reduction of 12 cm in the abdomen after 24 weeks
• Weight reduction from 136 lbs to 132 lbs after 24 weeks
Physician: S. Mulholland, MD
“I can’t believe I waited this long to do this! I have incredible tightening and shaping
of my tummy and hips. I am back into the clothes I used to wear two decades and

Radio-Frequency Assisted Liposuction ™
24 Weeks After
Patient: 49 Female
Areas Treated: Abdomen, Hips, Thighs & Braline
Anesthesia: Valium 10mg (orally), IV Sedation and Hunstad Tumescent Formula
Protocol: Multiple level complete matrix heating of adipose and subdermal heating was used to address
the patient’s excess fat concerns. The energy levels were as follows: 65W at depth setting 5,
60W at depth setting 3 and 55W at depth setting 2. The end point at the deep levels was
loss of tissue resistance and in setting 2 was the skin’s surface reaching 42 degrees.
In addition, each zone was treated for an additional 3 minutes at the target cut of
temperature to achieve maximal skin tightening in the area. All thermal zones were
10x15cm in area.
Aspiration: 2000cc abdomen and 1200cc hips
Post-Op: Post-operatively, the patient was instructed to wear both compression garments and foam pads
for the first week (22 hours a day), then another 2 weeks of compression garments for
22 hours and then 3 more weeks of compression garments for 12 hours during the day.
Results: • 10% vertical contraction
• Circumferential reduction of 12 cm abdomen after 24 weeks
• Weight reduction from 138 lbs to 129 lbs after 24 weeks

Radio-Frequency Assisted Liposuction ™
Before 2 Weeks After 4 Weeks After
Patient: 34 Female, no prior surgery
Height: 5”4
Weight: 150 lbs
Procedure: Combination treatment: Mini lower abdominoplasty with extensive RFAL above the
umbilicus (without transposition of her umbilicus)
Aspiration: 1300cc of lipoaspitate from RFAL of upper abdomen and hip
Post-Op Feedback: The smaller excision provides the patient with less downtime and faster healing. The
patient is very pleased with her results and has had minimal pain.
Physician Testimonial: “She has no pain and no problem healing and I feel an incredible early result not
previously achievable by any other means... even with much more extensive surgery.”
