1) A boy named CJ falls down a slide in the park and breaks it, causing everyone to chase him. He falls into a deep, dark sewer where he has no food, water, light or warmth. 2) In the sewer, CJ sees a rope and considers climbing out but a ghost warns him of goblins above. Writing on the wall directs him to a house for help. 3) At the house, a goblin invites CJ to follow him out silently. They become friends and construction skeletons fix the broken sewer, preventing others from falling in. All the creatures become close friends in the end.

1. Stuck in a Sewer

2. One day a boy named CJ was in a park playing on the ladder. Then he wanted to play on the slide
so he went down the slide. But when he went down ... he broke it. Everybody was so, so mad at him
that they chased him around the park. Suddenly he fell in a deep, deep sewer. He thinks he is lost. He
has nothing to do, no food, no water, no light, and it was amazingly cold. What should he do?
Suddenly he saw a rope!

3. When he saw the rope a ghost next to his shoulder said, "Are you sure that you should swing up
there? There is a huge huddled group of goblins out there. Are you sure you want to go out?" CJ didn't
know what to do. "Should I go up?" he wondered. "Will I die if I go out there?" thought CJ. He tried to
run up and out, and he slipped and fell on his obnoxiously bony spine. Suddenly CJ saw writing on the
wall. It said, "Go to: 25 Cherry Lane, house 49." CJ took a deep breath and wondered why this person
wanted him there. CJ had a feeling that he should go there.

4. So then, CJ went to 25 Cherry Lane, house 49. CJ rang the doorbell. Nobody answered. CJ
opened the door. He wondered if anybody was home. CJ walked in. The floorboards creaked.
Suddenly he heard a shaky voice saying, "Come here, come here, please get over here." CJ was
horrified. After a couple minutes CJ went over and saw...

5. DARK, DARK eyes and he saw a person that looked like one of the goblins from the sewer. CJ
turned on the lights. "Why was I supposed to come here?" he thought to himself. Maybe it was one of
the goblins who was in the sewer before him. The goblin came toward him and beckoned CJ to follow
him. Silently they left the house.

6. Whenever CJ went back to 25 Cherry Lane, he saw the goblin. From then on they stayed
friends. From then on the construction Skeletons came to fix the sewer. Now nobody ever again fell in
the sewer. So all the goblins, skeletons, and CJ became very close friends. THE END.
