Blood types are determined by the presence or absence of antigens (proteins) on the surface of red blood cells. There are two main antigen types, A and B, which are produced by enzymes encoded by two alleles (versions) of the same gene. The possible combinations of these alleles produce the four main blood types: A, B, AB, and O. Another factor is the Rh protein; a person's blood can be either Rh positive or negative. It is important to match blood types during transfusions to avoid immune reactions, as plasma contains antibodies that target foreign antigens not present in that person's own blood. People with type O blood are universal donors, while those with type AB blood are universal recipients.
The document discusses future career plans and interests after graduating from high school. It mentions being interested in the music business and wanting to manage musicians to help them become famous.
