This document outlines the design and implementation of a quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK) modulator and demodulator using a field programmable gate array (FPGA) for software-defined radio (SDR) applications. It describes the construction process using MATLAB Simulink and VHDL coding, highlighting the efficiency and flexibility of FPGA in handling complex modulation techniques. The results indicate significant improvements in development efficiency and cost reduction while achieving reliable communication performance.
