TRUSTBLOCK.NETWORK is a blockchain-based platform that aims to solve the problem of validating ownership and proper distribution of digital assets such as software keys, game keys, digital art, and certificates. The rapid growth of online markets for digital goods has made it difficult to determine if a purchased key is valid. The problem
Recent rapid development of internet technologies has caused a big leap in the process of
transferring the right to use any kind of assets, in particular digital ones. Thanks to the
internet, people and companies are able to acquire (and sell/resell) assets easier than anytime
in the past. This easiness of digital assets movement comes with a serious problem of
determining the ownership, proper distribution and validation for the acquired (or to be
acquired) digital resources.
The rapid shift from the standalone (offline) to the online model of sales/usage in gaming and
software industry created one of the biggest markets on the planet. With addition to the
digitization of art, data, music, entertainment, and movies it transformed the way how
everybody spends free time, accesses media or works. All these constantly needed products/
services can be obtained by purchasing a key (a unique code) that is then used to grant access
to the acquired (which most often, but not always mean purchased) digital resource (this can
be for example a software key).
The software and gaming market is huge and companies sell globally. Currently there is no
way to pre-validate the purchased software key. It is quite safe to buy directly from given
software or game publisher but the reality shows that vast amount of digital goods (including
software and game keys) are bought from third parties such as auction portals (eBay, Amazon,
OLX), trading platforms (G2A, Kinguin) and other means of online sales/exchange. As a
buyer one has no chance to check whether given software/game key is valid before one makes
a purchase. Moreover, in case the purchased key doesn't work, one has very limited chance to
make claims in a court of law. There is also an additional risk - the given key can be generally
valid but issued for other language or country.
The solution
We came up with the solution that will surely tackle this problem viz. a Blockchain-based
platform to track and validate digital property transactions in a real time. It is
TRUSTBLOCK.NETWORK - the Blockchain-based Digital Property and Assets Validation
Platform. TRUSTBLOCK.NETWORK will ensure validity of activation key for any assets
and minimize the distribution of digital assets from unauthorized sources. Users of
TRUSTBLOCK.NETWORK platform will be able to check that the asset they buy is legal
and will work in the way they expect (e.g. language, country). The platform will also have
functionality that will enable validation of any certificates, digital documents, and other
digital assets (music, art, etc.).
The two main modules of TRUSTBLOCK.NETWORK platform will be:
• the validation module: platform users will use this module to check previous
existence/issuance of certain digital asset (without any trading/exchange activities) -
e.g. checking validity of professional/course certificates, checking validity of
software/game key, etc.;
• the trading module: platform users will buy/sell/exchange digital assets (e.g. software/
game keys, in-game item keys) with the use of smart contracts - one of the key

2. functionalities of smart contracts run by the trading module will be the validity check
of the traded item.
Usage of the platform will be paid for with a dedicated TRUSTBLOCK.NETWORK token.
Besides Blockchain-based tracking of digital assets entered into or traded on the platform,
TRUSTBLOCK.NETWORK will enter into partnerships with software/game/other publishers
- for the benefit both of these companies, that want to control the distribution as well as for
the users, who want to safely buy digital assets and/or resell them later on.
