A collection of Black and White photographs taken through out the last 3 years in Switzerland, Israel, England and France.
The pictures involve a mixture of live performance (dance, circus and music), portraits and scenery.
The document discusses the history of animal cruelty and conditions in zoos. In the past, zoo cages were very small and overcrowded, prioritizing entertainment for humans over animal welfare. Some zoos still force seals and dolphins to perform meaningless circus tricks for crowds. The author argues that animals are intelligent and would prefer to engage in natural behaviors like swimming instead of performances. Everyone should think about how they would feel if locked in a small space or forced to humiliate themselves, and work to end such practices.
Zeb is a zookeeper who wakes up at 6 o'clock, has cereal for breakfast at 7 o'clock, and rides his bicycle to work at 7:30. At the zoo, which opens at 8:30, Zeb cares for the lions and tigers, feeding them every morning. He works at the zoo all day until going home at 6:30, and enjoys his job caring for the animals.
This document discusses several incidents involving animals that harmed or killed humans in entertainment contexts. It describes how a bear named Rocky killed someone during a promotional video, tiger attacks at the San Francisco Zoo, Steve Irwin's death by stingray, and a crocodile named Cookie eating a six-year-old boy who fell into its enclosure at a Miami park. The document also profiles Carrie the dancing dog and includes some YouTube links to videos related to the incidents.
Beyond the Boardroom have developed specific team building activities at specific locations throughout Australia. Mostly designed for specific conference centres, these programs are unique the location and cannot be duplicated in other places.
Mercy For Animals (MFA) is an activist group that lobbies for animal rights and investigates factory farms. They have exposed abuse at several large farms that supply major food companies. MFA spreads awareness about cruelty towards farm animals through social media campaigns and by petitioning governments to strengthen animal protection laws. They accept donations to support their efforts to promote humane treatment of animals used for food production.
The document summarizes health and safety figures from 2008-2009 in the UK which show that 180 people were killed at work, over 131,000 other injuries were reported, and over 29 million work days were lost. It also discusses risk management terminology like hazards, risks, and risk assessments. Risk assessments involve identifying potential hazards, evaluating the likelihood and severity of risks, and implementing controls to reduce risks. The key aspects of an HSE management system are also outlined, including hazard identification, risk evaluation and control, implementation, monitoring, and review.

Over the course of 8 weeks, the intern worked to replace the deteriorating burlap backing, clean and mend the cutouts, and create a mock-up of the new backing. Naked Girls with Masks
Why do we cover our bodies but display our
faces?

A photo exhibition by Ben Hopper.
Premiere at ACT ART (CENSORED), July 9,
2010.
