2. Biodiversity (जैव ववववधता):
Biodiversity refers to the variety of species
both flora and fauna present in an area.
जैव ववववधता से तात्पर्य किसी क्षेत्र में मौजूद
वनस्पततर्ों और जीवों दोनों िी प्रजाततर्ों िी
ववववधता से है।

4. Types of Biodiversity जैव ववववधता क
े प्रकार :
 It can be classified into following three types:
 1. Genetic diversity: It is the diversity within species.
 2.Species Diversity: It is the diversity between species.
 3. ecosystem diversity: It is the diversity between ecosystems.
 इसे तनम्नलिखित तीन प्रिारों में वर्गीिृ त किर्ा जा सिता है:
1.आनुवंलिि ववववधता: र्ह प्रजाततर्ों ि
े भीतर िी ववववधता है।
2.प्रजातत ववववधता: र्ह प्रजाततर्ों ि
े बीच िी ववववधता है।
 3. पाररस्स्ितति तंत्र ववववधता: र्ह पाररस्स्ितति तंत्रों ि
े बीच िी
ववववधता है।

5. 1. Genetic diversity आनुवंलिि ववववधता :
 Genetic diversity is defined as genetic variability
present within species. E.g. Different breeds of dogs,
different varieties of rose flower, wheat, rice, mangoes,
etc.


different species present in an ecosystem and
relative abundance of each of those species.
प्रजातत ववववधता िो एि पाररस्स्िततिी तंत्र में मौजूद
ववलभन्न प्रजाततर्ों िी संख्र्ा और उन प्रजाततर्ों में से
प्रत्र्ेि ि
े सापेक्ष बहुतार्त ि
े रूप में पररभावित किर्ा
र्गर्ा है।

13. 3. Ecosystem Diversity पाररस्थिततक तंत्र ववववधता:
Ecosystem Diversity can be defined as the variety of
different habitats, communities and ecological
processes. A biological community is defined by the species
that occupy a particular area and the interactions between
those species.
पाररस्स्ितति तंत्र ववववधता िो ववलभन्न आवासों, समुदार्ों और
पाररस्स्ितति प्रकिर्ाओं िी ववववधता ि
े रूप में पररभावित किर्ा
जा सिता है। एि जैववि समुदार् िो उन प्रजाततर्ों द्वारा
पररभावित किर्ा जाता है जो एि वविेि क्षेत्र पर िब्जा िरते हैं
और उन प्रजाततर्ों ि
े बीच बातचीत िरते हैं।

