Soprano Anna Morfidou was born in Athens and began studying piano and ballet at a young age. She joined the Athens Konstadinopolite's Chorus and later Fons Musicalis. At age 15, she received first award at the Hellenic Classical Song Competition and performed as a soloist. She furthered her studies in music theory and received degrees with highest honors. Her training includes lessons in singing, opera acting, and participation in masterclasses in Greece and abroad. Anna has performed recitals in prestigious Athenian venues and elsewhere in Greece and abroad, including solo works by Greek composers. She was the first to perform works by G. Minas at the Athens Opera accompanied by the Athens Philharmonic

Values: new generation of Ukrainian culture, talented Ukrainian children, classical music that breaks all the stereotypes, erases the boundaries of war and conflict.
Goal: to rally like-minded people and fundraise to help talented youth travel abroad, promote their talent locally and internationally, provide financial aid to children.
Target: to help gifted children, refugees from the war zones to represent Ukraine internationally at concerts and contest, as well as in UNICEF, European Parliament, etc.
1. Curriculum Vitae
Soprano Anna Morfidouwas born in Athens. From a very young age she
started her musical studies on the piano, under Mr K. Kydoniati's
supervision and guidance, as well as her ballet training. She had been a
memberof the Athens Konstadinopolite'sChorus fora number of years.
Later on she joined Fons Musicalis. At the age of 15 she was honoured
with the first award at the Hellenic Classical Song Competition(Young
People'sChorus and Orchestra) and soonshe appeared as a solist under
conductorN.Lasithiotaki, performing Mozart's "Exsulate, Jubilate" and G.
Pergolesi's "Stabat Mater" at the Atheneum Venue of Athens. Anna further
studied monody, piano and advanced theory of music at the College of
Southeastern Europe and at the Hellenic Musical Academy,where she was
granted her respective degrees and certificates,with the highest honours.
Her opera acting and motion studies took place at the Atheneum
Melodramatic School at Mrs. K.Rouggericlass.Her singing training
includes D. Katsari, B. Giannoulako, Carmen F Forti and K. Paschali
lessons.Her musical education further include participation in seminars
and Mastercasses in Greece and abroad, led among other, by N.
Zachariou, K. Karatza, Ari Christofeli,Jakobo Pappa and Cheryl Studer.
During her stay in Milan, Anna worked alongside conductors E. Zucca and
Al. Ferrari of the Scala of Milano. Anna has appeared in numerous recitals
in prestigious Athenian venues, such as the Atheneum, Pallas, Parnassos,
the Theocharaki Foundation, the Hellenic American Union, the Athens
College,Pieridis Gallery, Deere,the Athens Polytechnic School, the Athens
Opera etc. She has also performed in other Greek cities and abroad, like in
Gasteig - Munich.
As a solist,she has performedworks by M. Plessas,Mina I., Alexiadi, Babi
Kana, written for cebalo and vocals, furthermore, works by V. Delliou, I.
Dakoutrou, L. Samiotaki and by various other Greek composers,whilst she
2. was the first to perform G. Minas works "Oracle-CeremonyII" & "Theban
time" for orchestra and soprano at the Athens Opera, accompanied by the
Athens Philarmonic Orchestra. In October2006,Anna appeared in London,
at the Cadogan Hall, with the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under
conductorAl. Ferrari. As a solist she has collaborated with the folowing
orchestras: the Athens Chamber Opera , the ERT Orchestra of Modern
Music, the "Hellenic Musica Viva" and conductors L. Chalkiadaki, E. Zucca,
Al. Ferrari, G. Aravidi, A. Pylarino and others
