This document provides a quick guide to distinguishing between good and bad mobs in Minecraft. It describes 5 good mobs - pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, and squid - that are tame and will not attack the player. It then describes 5 bad mobs - zombies, skeletons, spiders, creepers, and slimes - that are aggressive and will try to kill the player. For each mob, it provides a brief description, how it kills players, and what items it drops when defeated. The document asks readers to provide feedback to improve the guide for new Minecraft players.

WTF - Why the Future Is Up to Us - pptx versionTim O'Reilly
This is the talk I gave January 12, 2017 at the G20/OECD Conference on the Digital Future in Berlin. I talk about fitness landscapes as applied to technology and business, the role of unchecked financialization in the state of our politics and economy, and why technology really wants to create jobs, not destroy them. (There is a separate PDF version, but some readers said the notes were too fuzzy to read.)
