11. Hadoop: Hadoop is an open source project hosted by
Apache Software Foundation.
Hadoop mainly consists of :
􀁸 File System (The Hadoop File System)
􀁸 Programming Paradigm (Map Reduce)
HDFS is a File System designed for storing very large
files with streaming data access patterns, running on
clusters on commodity hardware.
MapReduce: MapReduce is the programming paradigm
allowing massive scalability.

12. The commercial impacts of the Big data have the
potential to generate significant productivity growth for
a number of vertical sectors.
They should also create healthy demand for talented
individuals who are capable to help organizations in
making sense of this growing volume of raw data.
