Apache Software Foundation.
Hadoop mainly consists of :
File System (The Hadoop File System)
Programming Paradigm (Map Reduce)
HDFS is a File System designed for storing very large
files with streaming data access patterns, running on
clusters on commodity hardware.
MapReduce: MapReduce is the programming paradigm
allowing massive scalability.

potential to generate significant productivity growth for
a number of vertical sectors.
