1. Broadway International Film Festival Los Angeles (BIFF-LA) is dedicated to the
growth and expansion of independent cinema. As part of our effort and our
dedication to the film industry, our purpose is to provide an ongoing exhibition
platform for all local and international film makers.
BIFF-LA accomplishes this goal by focusing on the importance and the
significance of having a bridge to connect the Latin American industry with the
North American Industry. BIFF-LA is a major event in where artists, political
and city leaders, businesses and the community unite. It is a cultural center of
film diversity, an opportunity for exposing important topics affecting us all and
a spotlight for the emerging and established talent to showcase and publicize
their material.
Broadway International Film Festival Los Angeles will open on September 26,
2013 and run through September 29, 2013. Broadway International Film Festival
Los Angeles is being organized by its Executive Director Emilio Vega, and
Fernando Núñez, Public Relations Director. The Angelino multiculturalism is an
essential foundation for an event of this type structuring consciousness with
influential positivity from its diverse cultures and people as it continues to
grow.
BIFF-LA is presently working closely with the City of Los Angeles, Mayor Eric
Garcetti, State Senator Kevin de Leon and the Consulates from Central America
and South American in launching the event this year.
