Gingka and his friends meet a new Blader named Masamune Kadoya. Masamune is a new Blader who joins Gingka's group and will stop at nothing to defeat him. The WBBA sponsors the new "Beyblade World Championships", a world tournament where four representatives from each country around the world gather and battle to become the world champions. When Gingka, Masamune, Tsubasa and Yu are chosen as the representatives of Japan, they won't hold anything back to become the world champions! Kyoya was chosen but turned the opportunity down, as he wants to battle Gingka, and joins the African Team along with Benkei who masquerades as the Masked Bull. They must then secure the spot of being the strongest Bladers in the world!

2. Gingka Hagane
• Gingka Hagane is the primary protagonist in the Metal Saga.
• Gingka Hagane holds the title as the "No. 1 Blader in the World"
and a Blader of the Four Seasons, representing the season of
Autumn. Gingka is known worldwide for saving the world on
three occasions; Ending Lightning L-Drago 100HF's dark power
corruption of Ryuga and the Dark Nebula Organization during the
final battle of the Battle Bladers tournament, destroying the Spiral
Core powered by Faust and his Twisted Tempo 145WD in Hades
City, and most recently, defeating the God of Destruction,
Nemesis after its rebirth and as a result, saved mankind for the
greater good. He even became a mentor to his biggest fan and
Blader of Fire, Zyro Kurogane in Shogun Steel.
• Since then, he has gained recognition for his actions and
underwent training overseas. Gingka Hagane used four Beyblades
throughout the anime: Storm Pegasus 105RF, Galaxy Pegasus
W105R²F, Cosmic Pegasus F:D and Samurai Pegasus W105R²F.

4. Masamune Kadoya
• Masamune Kadoya is a recurring protagonist in the Metal Saga,
debuting as the deuteragonist in Beyblade: Metal Masters.
• He is a proud former member of Team Gan Gan Galaxy during his
time in Japan for the Big Bang Bladers World championship. He
remains as Gingka's third greatest rival is the self-proclaimed #1
Blader in the World.
• He is a talkative, very persistent and impulsive beyblader who fights
hard with his Blitz Striker 100RSF, while his previous Beyblade
was Ray Striker D125CS during Beyblade Metal Masters.
• He is currently living in America in the Dungeon Gym with his
friends, Toby, Zeo Abyss, and presently, King.
• One of Masamune's more notable traits is his nact for silliness,
overreacting to situations by falling out of chairs for overly flailing
himself when he's angry.
• Despite all his flaws, Masamune is a proud blader that will never
give up and keep working harder.

5. Masamune Kadoya
The funniest character ever, who’ll make you laugh
throughout the seasons. Expect him to crack a joke
to lighten the mood. Yup that’s our Masamune

6. Tsabasa Otori
• Tsubasa Otori is one of the protagonists in the Metal
Saga, making his debut in Beyblade: Metal Fusion.
• He is a secret-agent of the WBBA who went
undercover within the Dark Nebula before the events
of Battle Bladers. He later became the third member of
Team GanGan Galaxy with Gingka Hagane, Masamune
Kadoya, Yu Tendo and, Madoka Amano in Big Bang
Bladers. He is a fair fighting, calm headed beyblader
who wishes to soar like his Earth Eagle 145WD.
• He later becomes the President of the WBBA
in Beyblade: Shogun Steel, replacing Ryo Hagane.

8. Yu Tendo
• Yu Tendo is a recurring character that appears in the Metal
Saga, making his debut in Beyblade: Metal Fusion and
was Gingka Hagane`s first opponent in the Battle Bladers, as
well being a creator of the tournament right after he won the
Survival Battle.
• Yu is a genius Blader who just wants to have fun with his
Beyblade Flame Libra T125ES. He is a former member of
the Dark Nebula, who separated from them after they turned
on him and tried to destroy his Libra. Soon after that, he made
friends with Gingka Hagane, and later became the substitute-
member of the Japanese Representative Team, Team GanGan
Galaxy during the World Beyblade Championships. The Team
took 1st Place and became the Best Beybladers in the World.
During the Championships, Yu's tag-partner was Tsubasa Otori.

10. Team Gan Gan Galaxy
• Gingka Hagane - Galaxy Pegasus W105R2F later Cosmic Pegasus F:D: Gingka is the
leader of Team GanGan Galaxy and is known world-wide as the Battle Bladers
Champion. Gingka is a strong, uplifting, and faithful beyblader. He is increasing and
expanding his abilities as he heads world-wide in the beyblade world
championships.
• Masamune Kadoya - Ray Striker D125CS, later Blitz Striker 100RSF: Masamune is a
new-comer from the U.S., second member of Team GanGan Galaxy and the self
proclaimed #1 blader in the world. He is a large part of Team GanGan Galaxy and
one of the most active members. Masamune is a hot tempered, cocky, and self
confident blader. Above all, Masamune is loyal to his friends and all for his team.
He is usually the first to battle on the team and wins about half the time.
• Tsubasa Otori - Earth Eagle 145WD : Tsubasa is the third member of Team GanGan
Galaxy. Tsubasa is a calm, cool headed blader with skills unmatched by most in the
world. Though he is apart of the team, he is constantly haunted with the thoughts
of his defeat and sometimes does not truly feel like he is a part of GanGan Galaxy.
• Yu Tendo - Flame Libra T125ES: Yu is the substitute member of Team GanGan
Galaxy. Yu is a blading genius and poses the knowledge and strength to become the
best. Yu is a very free spirited and all fun no business blader always in for a
challenge and above else for the fun of the battle.

12. Team Whang Hu Zhong
• Dashan Wang - Rock Zurafa R145WB: Dashan is a beyblader and the leader of
Team Wang Hu Zhong. Dashan is a very calm but intense beyblader. Being the
leader of Team Wang Hu Zhong he is constantly under the pressure of being the
best in Bei-Ling Temple. Dashan seems to handle pressure well most of the time
unless he fails himself. He is a very confident, respectful and loyal person who
wishes to see the best in everyone. Dashan is very loyal towards his teammates and
can be hard on them at times, but only for their own good and improvement.
• Chi-yun Li - Thermal Lacerta WA130HF: Chi-yun Li is a very serious and intensive
beyblader. He is extremely loyal to China and his best friend Dashan Wang. Chi-yun
is very confident in himself and loves a challenge, he always wishes to do his best
and defeat his opponents at their maximum potential.
• Chao Xin - Poison Virgo ED145ES: Chao Xin is an extremely arrogant beyblader and
a definite ladies man. Chao Xin is all about appearance and how you present
yourself to society. Chao Xin can also be very uplifting and though he always
radically he is always trying to help people and there lookout on life when ridiculing
them. Though very arrogant, Chao Xin shares a love for beyblade just like the rest
of his team.
• Mei-Mei - Aquario 105F: Mei-Mei is a very outgoing and shy young lady. She is the
sub of Team Whang Hu Zhong and is constantly in the shadow of her team, but is
always cheering them on. Though quiet, she is very self confident while in battle,
and can take a loss very well.

14. Team Excalibur
• Julian Konzern - Gravity Destroyer AD145WD: Julian represents
Italy and is the leader of Team Excalibur. Julian is a very wealthy
and confident blader.
• Wales - Grand Cetus WD145RS: Wales represents England as the
Blue Grand Cetus. Wales is a very confident and powerful tag
team blader. Wales's loyalty is unmatched by anyone and will
stand by his team no matter the cost. He is normally partnered
with Sophie and their teamwork is incredibly in sync.
• Sophie - Grand Cetus T125RS: Sophie represents France as the
White Grand Cetus. Sophie is a confident and powerful tag team
Beyblader. Sophie is extremely loyal to her team and to her tag-
team partner Wales. When partnered in battle, Sophie and Wales
are unmatched due to there perfect symmetry and strength.
• Klaus - Grand Capricorn 145D: Klaus is the muscle of Team
Excalibur. Like the other members of Team Excalibur, Klaus is
extremely loyal and has proven it in the midst of battle. He is
known as the "Axe of Destruction".

16. Team Wild Fang
• Kyoya Tategami - Rock Leone 145WB: Kyoya is the self-proclaimed leader of Team
Wild Fang. He originally earned a spot in Team GanGan Galaxy, but decided not to
join and instead joined the African team, Team Wild Fang, to fulfill his need and
goal to defeat Gingka Hagane. He failed to do so but then later helped Gingka and
his friends stop the Spiral Core.
• Nile - Vulcan Horuseus 145D: Nile is a major part of Team Wild Fang and the second
most powerful blader on the Team. Nile's blading skills are unmatched by those
who were born and raised in his region of Africa. Nile is a very calm and cool
headed blader who knows how to wait and listen to his opponent, almost always
giving him the win. He beat Masamune in their first battle against GanGanGalaxy.
He also helped later, along with the rest of Wild Fang, to stop the Spiral Core.
• Demure - Counter Scorpio 145D: Demure is the third official blader of Team Wild
Fang. He was decided to be in the group by his fellow members Nile and Kyoya. His
self confidence is quite low but is confidence in his team is quite the opposite. He
has unusually good eyesight. Demure is probably the most intelligent of his team as
he is able to easily analyze his opponent and figure out a strategy which gives them
an edge in battles.
• The Masked Bull (Benkei Hanawa) - Dark Bull H145SD: The Masked Bull is the
substitute blader in Team Wild Fang and was included by Kyoya. Benkei decided to
disguise himself as The Masked Bull so no one would know he was representing for
Africa's team instead of Japan's team, though his friends still recognized him.

18. Team Lovushka
• Anton (fired) - Evil Wolf DF145FS : Anton doesn't battle but is still a member of Team
Lovushka. He sets traps and uses unfair tactics for his team to live their dream and go up into
space. After Team Lovushka's battle with Team GanGan Galaxy, Team Lovushka fires him for
making them cheat so Anton is no longer a member of Team Lovushka.
• Aleksei - Burn Wolf SW145WD : Aleksei is the leader of Team Lovushka. He is the most space
educated person on the team. He is forced to do what Anton says. Anton told him in order to
win his Team must cheat and so they had to go along with the plan. Aleksei is the smart one
and the strongest one. In order to win they thought stealing Team GanGan Galaxy's data
would help them. So while Aleksei kept everyone on his team battling with Team GanGan
Galaxy on the train to Russia, he asked for Madoka's computer and stole her data allowing
them to see their strengths and weaknesses.
• Nowaguma - Rock Orso D125B : Nowaguma is small, but in the astronaut suit, it makes him
look big. He can speak on a basis, but most of the time his teammates must tell other people
what he is saying because sometimes they won't understand. Nowaguma is not the
strongest of the team. So he sometimes would go last but in their battle with Japan's Team
he would go first and is the 2nd strongest blader on the team.
• Lera - Rock Scorpio T125JB : Lera is the only girl in Team Lovushka. She is the only one who
can translate Nowaguma's way of speaking. She is very feisty and only wants to win. She is
never determined on strategies. She is mainly determined on getting a chance to battle and
win. She doesn't know that that would help her win. She is the most physically educated
person on their team about space.

20. Team Garcias
• Argo Garcia - Ray Gil 100RSF: Argo Garcia is the hot headed leader and
eldest brother of Team Garcia. He is a powerful blader who has much
potential but is blocked by his treacherous and evil personality. Argo is a
beyblader who simply battles for victory and the pleasure of crushing the
loser.
• Ian Garcia - Cyclone Herculeo 105F: Ian Garcia is an arrogant and a weaker
member of Team Garcia. Due to his battling skills and tournament
reputation he is considered the second most powerful on the team, but
never backs his reputation while in mid battle.
• Selen Garcia - Ray Cancer 135SF: Selen Garcia is a devious and load
mouthed member of Team Garcia. She normally deceives her opponents
with tricks to win or puts them under unfair conditions just to win the
match. Selen is used to test out the power and see if the opponent is strong
enough.
• Enzo Garcia - Ray Gasher M145Q: Enzo Garcia is a sneaky and devious
young beyblader belonging to Team Garcia. He normally uses unfair tactics
and trickery to defeat his opponents, until it backfires and blows up in his
face. They use Enzo first to find one team member of the opposing team so
they can see their power and strategy.

22. Team Desert Blaze
• Gasur - Storm Northern Cross 125FS: Gasur is the
leader of Team Desert Blaze. The country Team Desert
Blaze is representing is Arabia. Gasur remains loyal to
his team mates. He fights hard as for his country and
himself.
• Karte - Rock Crow 125B : Karte is the fearful one on
Team Desert Blaze. In order to use his special move
"Crow Crusher" he must collaborate with his team
mate, Zidane.
• Zidane - Rock Crow 125B : Zidane is the quiet one yet
better than Karte whom he isn't quite used to battling
without. His training is always with Karte to permit
them to perform their special move.

24. Team Chandora
• Salhan - Flame Serpent SW145F: Salhan is the
skilled leader of Team Chandora. He trained on
the streets of Bombay and became famous. His
skills are referred to as the best in India and
Salhan is a very proud blader because of it.
• Vridick - Storm Serpent SW145SF: Vridick is a
strong willed and loyal member of Team
Chandora.
• Aniel - Rock Serpent SW145WD: Aniel is the third
member of Team Chandora who rarely gets to
display his own beyblading skills.

26. Team Star Breaker
• Damian Hart - Hades Kerbecs BD145DS: Damian is a very confident and extremely
arrogant beyblader. He is the leader of Team Star Breaker because he is their most
powerful blader. Damian uses his abilities to toy with his opponents and squeeze as
much of a battle out of them as he can. Damian has a very special gold launcher
and his Hades Kerbecs goes well with it. His nickname for Gingka Hagane is
'Blabbermouth'.
• Jack - Evil Befall UW145EWD: Jack is a loudmouth and also a confident blader
among the members of Star Breaker. Jack normally loudmouths his opponents and
exploits his abilities to prove his worth. He is their second most powerful blader. He
also draws a picture in the Middle of the BeyStadium and traps his opponents and
names the picture after the blader is defeated. He is insane and loves to paint
things that don't make sense. Evidently, his masterpiece or "painting" is never
completed thanks to Tsubasa Otori.
• Zeo Abyss - Flame Byxis 230WD: Zeo is a very friendly and respectful beyblader. He
is a large part of Team Star Breaker and their third most powerful beyblader. Zeo
makes friends very easily due to his open and delightful personality. Zeo respects
all of his opponents and uplifts them to do the best they can, this is the same case
with everyone else he comes meets. He is the only member of the team who
doesn't like to rely on the Arrange System and believes he can win without it,
seeming rather insulted when Dr. Ziggurat asks him to get Arranged before
battling Ryuga. He is also a friend with Team GanGan Galaxy's Masamune
Kadoya and Toby in the past.

28. Ryuga
• Ryuga also known as The Dragon Emperor, was the main deuteragonist in
the Metal Saga, making his debut in Beyblade: Metal Fusion.
• Ryuga was a former member of Dark Nebula and the ultimate rival of Gingka
Hagane. He was defeated by Gingka only once; all the other battles against him,
Ryuga came out on top, making him legendary. He was the strongest member
in the Dark Nebula, being the one who owned the Forbidden Bey. He was
a Legendary Blader as well, specifically part of the Bladers of the Four
Seasons as the Blader of Summer, where the power of Gaia was separated into
the four seasons of Earth and the four Bladers, Gingka Hagane, Kyoya
Tategami, Chris, and Ryuga. After being freed from the dark power, Ryuga
obtained powerful knowledge about becoming one with a Beyblade and
understanding it, in contrast to his power-hungry personality from before.
Regaining control of his own mind with a new more powerful L- Drago, Ryuga
was now a stronger and more proud person who no longer stood as the face of
evil. Rather now Ryuga decided to do simply what he liked instead of wrong, he
even decided to lecture Tsubasa in order to help him gain control of his dark
power.
• Even so, Ryuga still had plenty of rage on the inside, as he was not very fond of
Hades Inc., or Julian Konzern's left rotating beyblade. In the end, Ryuga stood
with Gingka against Hades Inc., but not to do what's right, just to do what he
wanted to get back at them.

30. Ryo Hagane
• Ryo Hagane is a character from the Beyblade: Metal Fusion anime
and manga and the father of Gingka Hagane. His alter-ego is the
powerful blader, Phoenix. He uses the beyblade Burn Fireblaze
135MS.
When Ryo Hagane in the disguise of Phoenix, meets Gingka
Hagane his son, he crushes his Beypointer to remind him what
being a beyblader is about. He saves Tsubasa from Ryuga and talks
with him, becoming an ally with him. After that, Gingka defeats
Phoenix with his special move Storm Bringer. Later in the anime,
he finally reveals himself to Gingka, and even witnesses Gingka
beating Ryuga and freeing Ryuga of L- Drago's dark possession.
• Metal Masters
• In Metal Masters, it is revealed that Ryo now works as the
Headquarters Chief for the WBBA in Japan with Hikaru (owner of
Storm Aquario) as his assistant. He appears in Metal Fusion, Metal
Masters, and Metal Fury. He only battles once in Metal Masters.

32. Kenta Yumiya
• Kenta is a Blader, and although he was very poorly skilled in battle, in
Metal Fury he is a rather competent Blader. He always tries to use his
maximum aptitude in order to win. From the first time he met
Gingka, Kenta has admired and looked up to Gingka, as Gingka has
always been a talented Blader, considering he is the #1 blader in the
world. Kenta has always envied Gingka, and has always wanted to be
just like him. He also started sort of a friendship with Ryuga recently.
Throughout Metal Fusion, he became close friends with the blader
Sora. Throughout Metal Fury, he became close friends with Ryuga.
• He was on a secret quest with Ryuga to search for the remaining
Legendary Bladers to help Gingka and his friends defeat the evil
Nemesis. Eventually, Ryuga passed on his star fragment to him, and
he became a Legendary Blader, replacing Ryuga as one of the Bladers
of the 4 Seasons, as the new Blader of Summer. He also owns the B-
Pit in the Shogun-Steel manga.

34. Hikaru Hasama
• Hikaru became such a cold, uninterested beyblader because other
bladers kept destroying her hopes to be a good player in
tournaments. When she was beaten miserably, she would break
down crying while the other boy would just smirk. Her mother
though, apparently ill, convinced her that she should never
abandon and that determination is everything. Her mother herself
dreamed of becoming a strong blader and declared that Hikaru
was her legacy. Taking her words very seriously, Hikaru vows to
find strong opponents and get better and better in order to fulfill
her mother's wish. She is not lacking a sense of fun and friendship
though - these aspects resurface as the plot goes on.
• After her defeat at the hands of Ryuga, Hikaru seems to have been
so deeply
• Hikaru in shock of seeing L- Drago again
• traumatized by the event that she is unable to continue
beybattling. This is evident in her reaction in episode 73 when she
is nearly struck by Tsubasa's attack while his dark side takes over.
