Jasmine spent a fun week at her aunt and uncle's house at Big Bear Girl's Camp, where she got to hang out with her cousin Jessica and help with chores. She had a great time hiking and reading. Bret took the kids to California for a fun weekend at the beach at their aunt's birthday party. Bret recently retired from his 16-year job at Farmers Insurance and is enjoying spending more time at home with his family.

Jasmine and Bret went to their annual Journey concert together.
Bret even took Jasmine to the outlets for a bit of back to school
shopping (see side pic).
Then he left Jasmine with Uncle Hal and Aunt Shela at their little
house at Big Bear Girl s Camp. It was the week that Jessica and
her girls were going to be at camp. Jasmine got to hang out with
the girls, help Uncle Hal paint, read with Aunt Shela and hike with
Aunt Jess! She had a blast.
What a great way to end her summer!
While Karen “played” and worked
over the weekend in Chicago and
the Midwest.....Bret took the kids
to California for a fun weekend at

birthday party right on the beach
and the kids had a great time.

7. July 17th is Mom and Dad’s wedding anniversary. It would have been 45 years for them! I did a small
tribute to them on FB but here are some of my favs of the two of them!
What a blessing to be raised by such a great set of parents.
