This document provides a template for students to reflect on their beliefs both before and after reading a text. The template guides students to state their initial view on the topic and why they believe that, and then reflect on how their view has changed or not changed after reading the text based on what was discussed and what new questions were raised. The template is meant to help students engage critically with a text and think about how it impacts their perspective.
