The document provides instructions for making a propeller out of paper to test whether heat energy from rubbed hands can cause kinetic energy motion in the propeller. Learners will cut out a propeller template, balance it on a pencil, rub their hands to generate heat energy, and place their hands near the propeller to see if it spins, with the goal of determining if heat energy can transform into kinetic energy and vice versa.

The document proposes establishing a Digital Accessibility Center at the university to promote universal design for instruction. It discusses how universal design benefits a diversity of learners according to principles like flexibility and perceptible information. The center would provide training and resources to faculty on making online courses accessible according to ADA guidelines. An implementation strategy includes campus outreach, tools/guides, social media, and graduate student assistance to help make existing courses accessible. The goal is to support student success through inclusive course design.

1. Beekeeping Lessons – 4 Common Honey Bee Types One Could Learn About in
Beekeeping Lessons
http://www.guidetobeekeeping.info
If you like honey or just consume it because it is a cure then maybe the idea of
producing your own honey came to your mind. But, because producing honey is
conditional to having bees, being able to have your own honey can appear to be the
result of a difficult road. This being, if you are willing to put up the effort and raise your
own bees, you are likely to need beekeeping lessons. Whether these beekeeping
lessons will be within a guide or a somewhat communal atmosphere, getting
knowledge about bees and what equipment can be needed to approach them is
important. So here in this beekeeping lesson, let’s take a look at four common bees
types known to produce wax and honey.
My very brief beekeeping lessons: 4 Common Honey Bees Types
First of all, before we dive into the 4 common honeybees Types, it can be noted that
bees are believed to be either social or solitary. How so social, aren’t them all creatures
that stings? In fact, the difference between a social bee and a solitary one is found in
the fact that the first one lives in a colony while the latter does not. Now, when it comes
to these 4 common honeybee’s species, there are the: apis florae, apis dorsata, apis
cerena and apis mellifera.
The Apis Florae
Beginning with the apis florae, bees from this species are characterized by their smaller
size when compared to the others. Moreover, it can be said that this honey bee species
does not tolerate a lot of disturbances. What does it mean? It signifies that if a colony of
the type apis florae feels disturbed, it very likely that it will abandon its hive.
The Apis Dorsata
What about the apis dorsata? The apis dorsata also may abandon their hives when
disturbed, however, they seen to be able to bear more disturbance than the apis florae.
Similarly to the previous species, the apis dorsata also construct one single comb hives
that can be found suspended from trees. The third species is the apis cerena. Because
climates seem to have an effect on the size of the bees and because this bee species is
found in countries with different climates it is not evident to define a single size for these
bees.
These honey bee also resemble each other to an extent
In contrast with the previous species, the apis cerena can be domesticated. Finally, the
apis mellifera. Effectively, the apis mellifera bees builds parallel combs in tree trunks for
2. instance. The apis mellifera colonies are also characterized by a consistent division of
labor within the members as well as a social hierarchy that is well maintained.
