INTRODUCTION
 The definition of beauty is always a ‘mystery’.
 Commonly described as a feature that makes object pleasurable to
perceive.
 Many scholars such as ‘Immanuel Kant’ attemted to describe
beauty.
 But theories fall into two major categories:
• Subjective
• Objective
SUBJECTIVE BEAUTY
Opinions on beauty is something which changes from person
to person.
What one person may find appealing, other may find
appalling.
Everything is beautiful if you look at it through the right eyes.
There's flaws in beauty, and there's beauty in flaws, what's
important is knowing how to face them.
Subjective Beauty
MOUNTAIN DESERT
OBJECTIVE BEAUTY
Something is objective if it is independent of our opinions on it.
It exists without observation.
Objective beauty, like objective truth, is subject to open-ended
improvement.
It is not about the experience of the observer.
The golden ratio can be used to find the measurement of objective
beauty.
Objective Beauty
INTERNAL BEAUTY
Internal beauty refers to the beauty which is invisible to the
naked human eye
To be beautiful internally means to have a kind heart and be
understanding
Internal beauty is intangible, thus it cannot be observed
physically
Internal beauty is real it cannot be manipulated
Internal Beauty
KINDNESS HELPING NATURE
EXTERNAL BEAUTY
External beauty refers to the beauty which is visible to us
through naked eyes, stuff like appearances.
To be beautiful externally means to be beautiful on the outside
such as having a nice outfit and an attractive smile.
External beauty is tangible, thus it can be observed and
touched physically.
External beauty is fake as it can be easily manipulated.
External Beauty
BEAUTY IN OUR REAL LIFE
Beauty as it is described by us is not only present in theory, you
can observe beauty through a variety of mediums.
The care and effort our teacher puts in our lessons which goes
hand in hand with her observable beauty is also something to be
appreciated.
The love and care of a family, the members of which are bound
through an invisible thread of love can also be described as
beautiful.
Beauty in our Real life
FAMILY TEACHER
The ancient Greeks believed perfect proportions
were the key to a woman's beautiful face.
Today a segment of youth society is distinguished by
the whitened faces, pastel hair and blackened eyes
For most people, a key feature of beauty today is the
good-health look
Another important trend today is age.
At the same time, a major part of beauty is sex appeal.
BEAUTY THROUGH HISTORY
BEAUTY THROUGH HISTORY
It all began 2,400 years ago in Greece and Rome, when the West’s
standards of beauty were set.
Greek parents-to-be were so concerned about their offspring’s beauty
For Greek mathematicians, the number 3 had special significance.
Centuries later observers also looked for the elusive mathematical formula
to define beauty.
Margaret Wolfe Hungerford once said, " beauty is in
the eyes of the beholder" , what it means is that which
one person finds beautiful or admirable may not
appeal to another.
Everything is beautiful, it's just that the eyes which
perceives it comes from different people.
The idea is that everything was once created by the
god and GOD never made anything ugly. Though how
it is perceived is completely subjective.
