The BCF senior meeting discussed changes to the 2021 cricket league format due to fewer available days and cancelled games from COVID restrictions. They decided on a 9 game season for each division with normalized points. Teams will be reordered and promoted/relegated between divisions for 2022. Rules for star players, umpires, scorers, and cricket balls were also reviewed.

League Format 5 • Games in April, May and June (< 09-Jun) • Considered as “No-Result” • Both the teams will get 0 points • Next slide gives the specific games • City Lock-down due to Corona in 2021 • No Reschedule • Considered as a “Tie” • Both the teams will get 12.5 of the points • Players infected • No Reschedule • Club responsibility to take care of the safety of their players • Considered as a “forfeit” • We can’t give equal points as the forfeiting Club is not able to get enough players to organize the game • Team which gets forfeit is given 25 points • Team which gives forfeit is given 0 points

- 8. • In 2022, we can only afford • 6 teams / division • To do this, we need to • Move 2 teams up • Move 2 teams down • Order the teams from 1-42 • Cut off at 6 team boundary • In 2022, we will have 7 divisions • Apply Junior Criteria & National League Criteria to re-order Promotion/Relegation 8
- 9. • Star Players (Changed by EC on 11-Jun-2021) • Identified based on 2019 League MVP statistics and published in cricket-Belgium website • A Club represents • 2 teams • Top-4 MVP players can only play for the first team. • They can play 50% of the second team games. 3 teams • Top-4 MVP players can only play for the first team. • They can play 50% of the second team games. • They cannot play for their third team games. • Next Top-4 (i.e.,Top 5-8 MVP) players can play for the second team. • They can play 50% of the third team games • They can play for any/all of thee first team games • In 2021 50% is 4 games Important Rules & Regulations 9
