WHO IS BOSHAM CAPITAL ADVISORS (“BCA”)?
BCA is an independent financial boutique. We provide both investees and
investors alike the full spectrum of merchant banking services, including
strategic advisory, corporate finance, M&A, capital introduction and ongoing
advisory/board services post investment. Importantly, at BCA we ourselves are
investors first and foremost, with access to both partner capital and to a
significant global network of Institutional, FO and HNWI capital.
We act as investors at every stage of our process, putting our own capital on the
line in the vast majority of deals that we manage. Even when we choose not to
invest we undertake the same rigorous due diligence in order to ensure that the
investment proposition is watertight before introducing the idea to potential
investors. We have been investing in both unlisted and listed companies for over
30 years and have substantial experience in the capital formation process.
Currently we manage a global portfolio of 6 investments across the Consumer,
Disruptive Tech, Digital Media and Real Estate sectors.
WHO ARE THE FOUNDERS?
Adrian Faure
Adrian Faure is the Founder and Managing Director of BCA. He is also a Venture
Partner with Octopus Investments and sits on the advisory boards of The Ice
Organisation and Eagle Alpha. Prior to BCA Adrian spent 28 years working in
global equity markets with Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, Macquarie Bank, Baring
Securities and James Capel. Commencing his career as an equity analyst with
James Capel in Hong Kong in 1987, he later joined Baring Securities and helped
them become the #1 ranked research team in Asia. He was promoted to Head of
Research and appointed as a main board director of Baring Brothers at the age of
27. In 1994 Adrian moved to Merrill Lynch as Head of Asian Research and helped
establish Merrill as the #1 ranked research team in the region for 4 consecutive
years before moving to New York as Head of Global Emerging Market research.
In 2002 Adrian returned to Asia as Head of Asian Research with Macquarie Bank
and subsequently moved to Citigroup in the same role in 2005. After establishing
Citigroup Investment Research as the #1 ranked team in Asia within 3 years,
Adrian was promoted to Head of Asian Equities (cash/derivatives sales, trading,
prime finance and capital markets) responsible for a $1bn P&L and 300+
employees. In 2011 Adrian was promoted to Head of Global Emerging Market
Equities with responsibility for Citigroup’s global equity businesses across Asia,
EMEA and Latin America. After 25 years away Adrian moved to London in 2013
and was promoted to Global Head of Equity Advisory & Distribution. He
subsequently left Citigroup in 2014 and established BCA shortly thereafter.

Edward Boddington
Edward Boddington, known as ‘Bod’ is a founding partner at BCA. Bod’s
entrepreneurial background includes founding and successfully exiting selling
three technology disruptive companies in the Media and Telecoms sectors. His
global business experience includes founding companies in the US and Asia. He is
currently Chairman of Harvest Media UK Limited, the UK’s leading TV
participation media provider to formats such as ‘The X Factor’ and ‘Comic Relief.’
Recently he became Chairman of One Big Idea a marketing agency start-up
specialising in B2B awareness and engagement campaigns for multi-platform
content owners.
As well as his commercial experience, Bod is an active industry player having
been a founding board member for micro-payment regulator PhonepayPlus, he
also sat on the board of mobile content company Stream Group plc. He is
currently Chairman of Trade Association AIME that lobbies regulators and
government. In his career, Bod has successfully raised capital through a variety
of sources including private equity, HNWI and Family Office. He is a private
investor himself and recently exited a financial services company Gener8. In the
summer of 2016, Bod will become Chairman of the Moulsford Preparatory
School Trust Limited.
WHO ARE OUR PARTNERS?
Adrian and Bod each bring an unusual blend of experience to the fore with the
combination of previous successful careers as financiers, entrepreneurs and
practitioners.
This combination is further supplemented by the formal partnership agreements
that we have established with a select number of UK corporate finance and
capital advisory firms, as well as with real estate specialists. These agreements
strengthen our investor reach as we share financing deals and look to find the
optimal strategic investors and sources of capital. They also augment our deal
origination capability.
In addition we have partnerships with entities in Hong Kong, Dubai and Mumbai
that ensures we have excellent access to capital derived from Asia and the
Middle East.
