The Baltimore Ravens became an NFL franchise in 1996 when Art Modell moved the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore. They were initially coached by Ted Marchibroda and had Ozzie Newsome as the director of football operations. Key players for the Ravens included Ray Lewis, an 11-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl XXXV MVP, and Rod Woodson, an 11-time Pro Bowler and Hall of Famer. The Ravens won their first and only Super Bowl so far by defeating the New York Giants 34-7 in Super Bowl XXXV in 2001.
