This document provides an analysis of Fugue No. 16 in G Minor by J.S. Bach. It describes the form and elements of the fugue, including the subject and answer presented in the first two measures using a "Cross Motive". It also discusses the countersubject that is woven throughout, episodes that modulate between keys, and how the countermotive inverts the subject melodically.
