India's economy grew at 7.3% in the third quarter of 2015, slightly lower than the 7.5% growth in the previous quarter. While manufacturing grew at a slower pace of 7.1%, agriculture rebounded with 2.2% growth after two quarters of decline. The lower growth was partly due to high borrowing costs and a weak global economy, but most economists expect India's growth rate to pick up in the coming year.
