The bill allocates $825.95 from the Student Government Association budget to fund the purchase and installation of a surveillance camera in the ground floor lobby of the Downing Student Union. The camera would monitor the area around the automatic teller machines and send a live video feed to the IT department and campus police. It passed with a vote of 15-5-3 to help enhance safety and deter crime in that area of the building.
