1. Okay, so this isn’t the type of sports bar that has sawdust or peanut shells on the floor with cheap furniture, a couple of old TVs hanging off the ceiling and pitchers of cheap draft beer. This is somewhat more civilized and has a futuristic look that, although it doesn’t scream “sports bar” at least appears to be quite comfortable for sports lovers who like a little refinement while indulging in their sports viewing. As well as the refined look, there are also five 42-inch plasma TVs and giant projection screens for the actual viewing, a state of the art sound and video graphics system and a wine dispensing system that can keep 12 bottles of fine wine in great condition for drinking by the glass. Again, okay, wine may not be the preferred drink of choice in a sports bar for some of you die-hard jock types but don’t worry, there’s plenty of suds for all of you beer lovers and a good pub menu to help soak it all up, including the most famous sports bar dish of all time —buffalo wings — a must especially for late-season NFL games as all devotees of the greatest professional sport will attest to. Oh, and the name would be helpful wouldn’t it, although you can find this brand new place in the basement of the Novotel Siam Square without knowing that it’s B@S that you’re looking for.
