This document describes an infrared remote control unit that can control 4 devices using a 16F628A microcontroller. It receives infrared signals from a Sony remote control and outputs signals to control 4 lines or toggle all lines on and off. The circuit uses a 3.3k resistor, 4MHz crystal, 22pF capacitor, and LED connected to pin 3 of an IR receiver module to receive signals and output control signals based on the Sony remote control buttons pressed.
