The Saab Safir is an original aircraft of the
Rijksluchtvaartschool (State Aviation School)
and is operated by a group of former students.
The aircraft carries the original livery from
its days at the Rijksluchtvaartschool and is
available for airshows. The pilots fly a very
dynamic and interesting display. The Saab Safir
can also join Fokker Four as solo display during
their display or part of the tight formation.

The Fokker Four is an experienced team of
pilots flying close formation and a great air
display with these post-war Fokker trainer
aircraft . The pilots are ex Royal Netherlands Air
Force pilots.

2. Consolidated PBY Catalina (solo display)
The Dutch Catalina is based at Lelystad
Airport and therefore close to the water for its
famous “Splash & Go’s”or water landings with
members. At an airshow it can fly a very nice
display showing all features of this remarkable
aircraft/flying boat. The Catalina is allowed
to carry passengers in the Netherlands and
therefore has 15 luxurious leather seats!

Fouga Magister (solo display)
Flown by Fons Hemmelder, former NF-5 display
pilot of the Royal Netherlands Air Force,
the Fouga Magister is displayed graciously!
The French two-seat jet trainer was used
extensively by Air Forces throughout the world
including Belgium and the Netherlands.

Yak 3 (solo display)
The forgotten fighter of the Second World War!
Only a handful
Yak 3’s fly in Europe contrary to the more
famous Spitfire and P-51. The Yak 3 of Rick van
der Graaf offers a spectacle of brute force and
elegance during its display.
