In a multiplication sentence you will always do
brackets first. You would use it in a sentence like
this.

                    (5+7)x3=

               5+7=13 13x3=39
After you do brackets you shall do division or
multiplication, whichever comes first from left to
right, such as a question like this.

               (2+3)x5-3 2=

     2+3=5 5x5=25 25-3=22 22 2=11
Once you have done brackets, division, and
multiplication then you go on to addition and
subtraction. Here is an example.

           (2+3)x5-6+4 2=
2+3=5 5x5=25 25-6=19 19+3=22 22 2=11
