4. Jira’s Built-in Reports
Jira reports are based on the project board that you
are using:
• Scrum Reports
• Kanban Reports
• Service Desk Reports
• Dashboard Reports
Each of these reports are powerful enough to
produce estimate, scope and trend of any jira
project except service desk.
5. Export Raw Data
• Sometimes Jira is not capable to provide exact
report of your need. Everyone need a specific
requirement or skill to manage reports.
• The best workaround of this bottleneck is to
export raw data from Jira and use it as you like.
• The best example is Excel Spreadsheets. We can
create a magnificent reports and filters using
excel.
• Jira has the capability to export data into CSV or
HTML format.
6. JQL
• JQL stands for Jira Query Language and is the
most powerful and flexible way to search for your
issues in Jira. JQL is for everyone: developers,
testers, project managers, and business users.
(Any Jira user)
• Always stick to the dynamic SQL so you can save
and reuse filters.
• Better to go with DEMO
7. Jira Dashboards
• After creating JQL filters, you can use them as a
dashboard reports.
• Data filtered from the JQL can be represented as
visual charts or tabular format data.
• Saved JQL can be subscribed and you can get
the periodical emails of those data.

different data sources including Jira.
