Alexandria Brandon created an ePortfolio to showcase her learning and skills gained during her undergraduate studies in psychology at Argosy University. The portfolio includes examples of her critical thinking, research skills, communication abilities, understanding of ethics and diversity, knowledge of foundations of psychology, ability to apply psychology, and interpersonal effectiveness. Brandon reflects on what she has learned, including realizing her interest in using psychology within the criminal justice field. She envisions continuing her learning through graduate school and a future career as a police officer.

4. Reflection I have learned a lot at Argosy. I have learned that psychology is in the everyday. I have also learned that I can use it in the field of criminal justice. I have also learned about some of my weaknesses. I have learned that I need to work on my writing communication. It is something that I am struggling with now, and I am constantly trying to better myself through learning and persevering.

6. Critical Thinking Critical thinking was a hard sample to chose. I ended up choosing my paper on authoritarians. I took a test to see if I was one and this is my thoughts on the test and what it is testing. There is a link to the paper below.
7. Research Skills For research skills, I choose a topic proposal I did for Antisocial Personality Disorder and Psychopathy. It ended up being a very interesting paper.
8. Communication Skills For communication skills I chose a PowerPoint I did on Violence and Video Games. Here is a video that I created and used in the presentation
9. Ethics and Diversity My sample of my knowledge of ethics and diversity is my paper on cultural study of Gestalt therapy. It was a paper on how cultural difference affects Gestalt therapy. The link is below.
10. Foundations of Psychology For foundations of psychology I used a paper that I wrote on counseling. The paper talked about different aspects of counseling and if I was a counselor.
11. Applied Psychology For my sample of my ability to apply psychology, I chose a paper on comprehensive therapy. It was on different types of therapy and how they work. It also mentioned therapist and therapist traits. Click on the box below to view the entire work.
12. Interpersonal Effectiveness Interpersonal effectiveness was a hard choice. I was not really sure if I had any work that displayed interpersonal effectiveness. In the end I chose a PowerPoint on depression and how to help Michael, a person who is depressed.
13. My Future in Learning I envision a future of getting a graduate degree and becoming a police officer. I see a job that I constantly learn new and exciting information from. In my future I can see learning from the community. I can always envision a future of learning and explore new information through working and in the classroom.
