There’s a New Chef in the atHOME Kitchen
VICTORIA - atHOME Victoria magazine is excited to announce is exclusive
partnership with world-renowned chef Dan Hayes, owner of Victoria's popular
culinary school and catering service, The London Chef. Hayes will be
contributing a bi-monthly column in which he shares his favourite recipes and
kitchen secrets for creating delicious, simple dishes anyone can make at home.
Originally from London, Hayes worked his way up in the culinary world earning
stature of Head Chef at a young age. He worked in numerous high-end Michelin
starred restaurants, as well as taught cookery all over the UK. Outside of the
kitchen Hayes was a food stylist for a top food photography company and helped
open a number of restaurants in London and the Canary Isles.
Hayes brought his classical training to
Victoria six years ago, which he now uses to
teach others how to cook with local and
sustainable ingredients. He founded the
reputable The London Chef – a cooking
school, catering service and café all in one –
as well as costars on APTN’s cooking show
Moosemeat & Marmalade. “I am thrilled to be
partnering with atHOME Magazine, and am
excited to share my love and my knowledge
of cooking with its readers,” says Hayes.
Hayes’s debut column with atHOME Victoria
– a gourmet, yet simple pasta recipe – was a
major hit among readers. "We are very lucky
to be working with Chef Dan Hayes and are
eager to see what he brings to the table,”
says Tracy Drake, Editor-in-Chief of
atHOME. "His talent and reputation brings a
quality to the magazine that is inspiring."
atHOME Victoria magazine’s website brings Chef Dan's recipes to life; featuring
full length behind the scene video and step-by-step follow along instruction of
how readers and foodies can prepare Hayes' culinary creations. To read columns
