This document describes two prototypes for resources for mechanical engineers: 1. A blog for mechanical engineers containing tutorials, principles, laws, standards, materials science, job search resources, and a daily topic archive. It aims to help mechanical engineers collaborate and share experiences. 2. A course workshop event for a design company team to learn Autodesk Inventor 2013 essentials like sketching, creating standard parts, and 2D drawing views. The interactive workshop would cover topics over two evenings for any mechanical engineers in the company to attend and bring their laptops. Feedback is sought on how to improve the workshop experience.
