the reader. It makes it easier for the reader to look
for the information it wants to read on instead of
reading the entire book.

located on pg. 83. By providing this page for
reference it lets the reader know that all the
information in the book is accurate.

book to write a nonfiction story about Jane Goodall.
Her style of writing grabbed the young readers
attention through the life of young Jane and her toy
chimpanzee.

stood up for her rights. Although it is a picture book
the author used appropriate vocabulary. This type of
style is not only enjoyable for the reader but also is a
great tool for research.
