This document provides the objectives and tasks for Assignment 1 of Unit 1 of an ICT Applied to English Teaching course from 2013. The objectives are to learn about the history of education technology through creating a PowerPoint presentation using relevant information from recommended websites and selecting the most important details, and to create an assessment form using Microsoft Word. Students are asked to include images and animation in their presentation consisting of no more than 10 slides and citing sources, and design a 10 point assessment form in Word. Recommended websites for researching the history of education technology and computers in education are also provided.

Objectives:

Technology.
- To apply previous knowledge of the uses of software to create presentations (e.g.
Microsoft Power Point)
- To apply some knowledge of the application of Microsoft Word to create materials
(Forms).
TASKS: (Individual)
