To graduate from ArTES, students must complete 230 class credits including California's A-G requirements of 160 credits across core academic subjects. They must also pass the CAHSEE in English and Math with a score of 350, and complete their ArTES Passport by participating in enrichment activities. Classes are worth 5 credits each and students must earn certain credit thresholds by the end of each grade to be promoted to the next grade. Failing a class puts students behind in their credits and requires retaking the class.
