The loft space of an art collector in New York City was remodeled by UNStudio to have seamless transitions, curved materials, hidden details, and exceptional views of the skyline, though implementing this clean design was difficult as the early 20th century manufacturing space had sloping floors and ceilings, out of plumb columns, and ceiling beams at varying heights, requiring extensive coordination to nestle ductwork, plumbing, and wiring above the uneven ceiling plane.
