The 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade will conduct the Army Aviation Ball on May 17th, 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. The purpose of the event is for Soldiers, families, DoD civilians, and friends to celebrate the history of Army Aviation and build esprit de corps. The formal portion of the ball will include remarks from Ambassador Harry Harris, a fallen comrade ceremony, dinner, and entertainment. The informal portion after will include dancing until 2300. Over 850 tickets were printed and sold for $65-95 depending on rank to help fund the event.

COMMANDER’S INTENT
Purpose
For Soldiers, Family Members, DoD Civilians and friends
of the Army Aviation Community to celebrate the
historic lineage, enjoy a night of team-building, and
esprit de corps.
Key Tasks
- Disseminate ball event details and VIP invitations
- Execute venue set-up, rehearsals, and execution of the
Army Aviation Ball
Endstate.
2CAB successfully executes the official portion of the
Army Aviation Ball to build esprit de corps; provide an
enjoyable atmosphere, and creates a memorable event
for all participants and attendees.
Concept of the Operation
The music entertainment for the social hour, Mess Call,
and formal portion of event will be provided by the 8th
Army Band. 2CAB is responsible for the formal portion of
the Ball from the entry of the official party to the
retirement of the colors. The informal portion will be
sponsored by the Army Aviation Association of American
and will include additional entertainment (Korean Drum
Team and Popera Singer) and photographer. Cost of
tickets: E6 and below is $65. E7 and above is $95. 750
tickets were printed to go on sale NLT 04MAR19. An
additional 100 tickets were added.
