The Arctic fox has several physical adaptations that allow it to survive in the harsh Arctic climate, including deep, thick fur that keeps it warm in winter and turns brown in summer to help it blend in with rocks and sand, muscular legs and furry paws that help it walk on ice and catch prey, and a good supply of body fat for insulation and warmth.
