Actinic chelitis, also known as actinic keratosis or solar cheliosis, is a premalignant condition of the lips caused by chronic exposure to ultraviolet radiation from sunlight. It typically affects older individuals, especially males, with fair skin who work outdoors. The lips develop scaly, thickened patches that can form fissures and crusting. If left untreated, actinic chelitis has a 10% risk of developing into squamous cell carcinoma of the lips. Treatment aims to remove or destroy the abnormal epithelium, such as with vermillionectomy or carbon dioxide laser ablation, to relieve symptoms and prevent cancer development. A PROXY EFFECT ANALYIS AND FAIR ADATPATION ALGORITHM FOR MULTIPLE COMPETING D...
Multimedia streaming technologies based on the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) are very popular and used by many content providers such as Netflix, Hulu, and Vudu. Recently, ISO/IEC MPEG has ratified Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH) which extends the traditional HTTP streaming with an adaptive component addressing the issue of varying bandwidth conditions that users are facing in networks based on the Internet Protocol (IP). Additionally, industry has already deployed several solutions based on such an approach which simplifies large scale deployment because the whole streaming logic is located at the client. However, these features may introduce drawbacks when multiple clients compete for a network bottleneck due to the fact that the clients are not aware of the network infrastructure such as proxies or other clients. This paper identifies these negative effects and the evaluation thereof using MPEG-DASH and Microsoft Smooth Streaming. Furthermore, we propose a novel adaptation algorithm introducing the concept of fairness regarding a cluster of clients. In anticipation of the results we can conclude that we achieve more efficient bottleneck bandwidth utilization and less quality switches.

This document discusses problems with implementing chat bots as microservices, listing seven key issues: chat bots produce garbage data, can experience periods of unresponsiveness or silence, tend to be overly verbose, require abuse filters that could block valid users, are prone to conflicts when multiple instances are running, have issues with statefulness that is difficult for microservices, and have fragility due to high dependency on external services. Edelman Trust Barometer 2015 - Italy Roma
The 2015 Edelman Trust Barometer is the firm’s 15th annual trust and credibility survey. The survey was powered by research firm Edelman Berland and consisted of 20-minute online interviews conducted on October 13th – November 24th, 2014. The 2015 Edelman Trust Barometer online survey sampled 27,000 general population respondents with an oversample of 6,000 informed publics ages 25-64 across 27 markets. All informed publics met the following criteria: college-educated; household income in the top quartile for their age in their country; read or watch business/news media at least several times a week; follow public policy issues in the news at least several times a week.
