In order to both create and reach your sustainability goals, your environmental expectations must be a guiding force in your vendor selections. This can be done by including environmental considerations in contracts already in place or up for bid. Bringing up a sustainable consideration for contract is part of an ethical sustainable practice and it’s inevitable that Green verification will mean better measurement tools and better results.

7. Get the response you need When you write the RFP, organize the expectations so the responses meet your needs. Some bidders will want to impress you with their commitment to Green products and services, and the inundation of information can be overwhelming.
