Announcements
Tomorrow is the LAST day to hand in your Yearbook Cover
art! Don’t miss the chance to have an amazing cover for
our yearbook!
On Friday, our jr. girl’s basketball team hosted their zones
tournament in our gym. In our first game, we played
Hewitt’s Creek and were successful in securing our first win
of the tournament! Unfortunately, we lost our second game
against Alcona Glen, but were successful in winning our
third game against Killarney Beach.
Announcements page 2
At the end of the tournament, both Hewitt’s Creek and
Alcona Glen also won 2 games apiece, which made it a 3-
way tie for 1st place so then we had to look at our point
differences between our games. Due to this technicality,
our girls unfortunately just missed out on advancing from
our zones tournament. Madi, Kyla, Holly, Hannah, Kassie,
Kalle, Kaitlyn, Amy, Hailey, Emma, Katerina, and Alex, you
should all be so proud of how your basketball skills
developed over the season! You are all terrific girls and
were a pleasure to coach!
Announcements page 3
Thank you to Mackenzie, Victoria, Dawson, Logan, Riley,
Charlie, and Zac for helping out at our tournament!
High jump equipment will be set up in the gym for the next
few weeks. If you move it, please return it how you found
it. It is important that no students practice high jump
without the supervision of Mrs. Wilson or Mrs. SanJuan
