It has a diverse landscape ranging from the highest point of Mount Sunflower at 4,039 feet to the lowest point of 680 feet where the Verdigris River runs. The largest cities in Kansas are Wichita, Kansas City, Topeka, Overland Park, and Lawrence. Kansas is also home to premier performing arts venues and its cuisine does not have an official state food.
