There are several definitions of big data that emphasize its volume, velocity, and variety. Big data is characterized by its volume, which is so large that it exceeds the processing capacity of traditional databases. It also moves at a fast velocity and comes in a wide variety of formats, making it challenging to analyze. Analyzing big data requires innovative forms of information processing to gain insights and make decisions.
