Octopuses have soft boneless bodies that can change color, live alone on the ocean floor all over the world, and there are over 200 species. They eat shellfish using venom and a beak, females lay thousands of eggs, and young octopuses are self-sufficient from birth. Octopuses are additionally known for shooting ink at enemies, and some can grow to over 30 feet in length.
